Thank you for bringing this up -- please keep pounding it into heads. As the "Shock and Awe" bombing campaign of the Irag War occured, I cringed. I'm a teacher and knew children were being kept awake each night, shaking in horror as the ground shook and buildings ruptured. As they lived, terrified of night, their emnity of the US grew in direct relation of the fear ... we created the new wave of terrorists and can only tank our own country for the bombings and horrors which will come.
We have to think forward -- we have to "pay it forward." We must become a forward-thinking society. Otherwise, we have no hope.

Nice to see you can somewhat grasp the size of global terrorism by inferring it will still be here in ten years. Regardless, like the Cold War, it's not going to go away in one or two administrations or decades...

You are right, running and hiding works so well when being attacked. By your twisted logic, if we had not have attacked Hitler full on or bombed Dresden we would have won the war more quickly.
