Thanks to the nice people at yahoo answers, i have allready discovered the physical causes of attarction to another human being, but now i was wondering, can these feelings be stopped, are they deliberate IE is it ever possible to stop fancying someone instead of pretending not to?

its a physical reaction, we can't stop a physical reaction. We can only control our reaction to it. Whether we control the urges we feel. So in answer to your question......no, you can't stop fancying someone unless something makes you no longer be interested.....but you will still be attracted to them. Its why people go back to relationship even when they know its not good for them, or why you still love that person from your past.

Well, I have that same problem. If you want to stop obsessing over someone you fancy, you have to 1.remember their bad qualities. 2.remember the moment of the pain they last caused you. 3. your life is more important that internet ppl. (if that applies to you).
