I was wondering the salary range for a commercial airline pilot. If you know the salary range, please respond. I was also wondering what the salary range for a privite airline pilot is. If you know any of these and other things I should know (I want to be a pilot), respond for 10 points! Thanks!

I am a student pilot and spend a lot of time with pilots. The answer is that you start out making peanuts. $20's and $30's. If you are fortunate enough to spend a career with one company you end up making in the $200's.

if you want to be a pilot, you're going to either want to get into the military where you can get uncle sam to pay for your flight time, or look for a company that will help you with your initial hours, though because of the insurance rates, that is a lower probability

Current salaries go from $62-164k for commercial pilots, probably about $10k less for private. Again, you'll need hours...

Differs by airline, also by seniority. You need to be in the union, the Air Line Pilots Association - go to their website and see what info you can find.

Go to salary.com and it will give you all your answers. It will also tell you what pilots are making in your area and the need for them.
