Always a scam.
You would not be emailed about anything like that. You would not be asked for those details in an insecure mailing system.
If you were going to be genuinely emailed, they would not email you from a Yahoo! Mail account. Anyone with enough money to give away like that would have enough money to buy a website domain, create a website, etc. Almost all hosting plans come with email space and thus they would use their own addresses for email. So instead of lottomailjackpot@yahoo.com, they would use something like jackpot@lotto.com.
Never send out personal information in an email, even if you know and trust the person you are sending it to. Email is an insecure form of contact, and so personal information should not be included.
Hope I helped! :)

Hi
I hope that everything will be OK for you now that you have given out your personal details. Every so often that lotto email is sent to me. I just delete it, as for the personal testimonials they have on, how do i know that they have not got a friend to hold up a cheque to make it look like they have won lots of money!!
My suspicions were aroused when i saw that all European countries were in this syndicate.

dont ever ever ever give any personal info to a 3rd party over the email , it is always dangerous , and almost certainly a scam . If you have given out info , just be extra careful of idendity fraud . check your cards and account , maybe let your bank know what you have done , and ask them to watch out for unusual transactions . dont worry too much , at least you are on the case now !!!

I agree that it sounds like a scam. If it seems too good to be true, don't mess with it. I run a lotto pool in SW Ohio with some former coworkers. We've never hit anything big, but we still play. If you want to play, join a pool like mine!

Yup, it was a silly thing to do. Be sure not to send any money if they ask for it and don't give details of your bank account or it will soon be empty.

Spam, and yes I would be changing thepersonal info that you gave him. I would contact your local police to see if they have something set up that can help deal with this.
