What a belittling question!! I mean, look what people who are totally blind can do and then you ask what someone can do when made blind for a temporary amount of time. There's no contest! People who can see and are blindfolded, they are handicapped by their own stupidity! They have no idea how to use their ears or their other senses! They are handicapped by their own senses as it were! LOL I feel for them.
I am in a world halfway between sighted and blind. Without my lens in the eye that semi works, I am almost blind, but put my lens in and I can see... but I know how to use my 4 other senses and my white cane all my training so that when my eye DOES go, I'll be ready for the dark. But regularly sighted people... its a death blow to their minds almost, when they loose their vision. I feel for people who have 20/20 and lose it. I've never had that so I don't have as much to lose! I've been knowing for years that I would possibly /probably lose what I DO have, so I've been preparing and learning the skills I will need.

What can I do blind folded?
I can prepare a full meal, do laundry, clean house, take public transit and do some of my shopping. Now , admittedly , shopping does pose a challenge because, well - let's face it- Even with 20/20, all those Campbell's soups look the same to YOU guys!! LOL
But I can also care for a child, rais e afamily, have a career, go to college and be a self confident woman in a modern world.
