Hello, I have been doing freelance computer repair for the 2 months, 3 weeks ago I received a call from a "private" number on my phone. It was a lady with some sort of company who started asking me all sorts of questions about my company, prices, etc. When I asked her why I should tell her she would just laugh, and continue asking questions, changing the subject and continuing to ask questions. I finally became so irrated I yelled "why do you keep changing the subject, who are you, why don't you just answer my questions!" she replied, "haven't you ever heard of closed bidding for your computer repair service." It sounded very fishy to me. Well anyway, I recieved a call last night.. and it was her again. She said "do you remember me? I am calling about the 3 computers a day you can fix for me." It just didn't make any sense, does anyone have any idea of who this could be that is calling. It sounds like she is working for someone to get information out of me

A business opportunity is a business opportunity.

I would arrange a face to face meeting in a public place to discuss "the 3 computers a day you can fix for me". Set a specific time when you will be sure that there are alot of patrons (around noon); be clear that you will not wait longer than 15 minutes, and ask her to describe what she will be wearing, so that you don't have to identify yourself if she looks/acts strange. ( Probably a good idea to have some friends in the place.)

If she is a potential client, she'll show up; if not, .........
