Is it true that during pregnacy that your pelvis opens wider and the baby ,may actuall make a 360 degree turn?

The bones don't actually move but the muscles and tissues do to allow for the growth and birth of the baby.
When I was 8 months pregnant my baby was resting wrong for birth so my doctor pushed her around by pushing on my tummy so her head was going down, not up.

Yes, that happens. The baby should be facing head up through the pregnancy and before you deliver it will move into a head down position.
