If you have had the car for more than 30 days, you get to buy it.
As a rule of thumb, most batteries are good for from 3 to 5 years, depending on quality of the battery and the severity of use.
You can get a pretty decent replacement for as little as $39.95 at most discount parts stores or Costco.
Costco has a VERY good warranty on theirs, and they are made by the same people and standards as a major national brand.
Good Luck

No your car warranty doesn't cover but check to see if you have a warranty on your battery.

Hmm they are supposed to have that bumper to bumper thing for so many years but I think that batteries would not be covered. I would call tho as a two year old battery should still be good.

It is unlikely - Your battery is normally covered for only the first year.
