Uh no! When I lived in Cleveland, I drove to NYC & it took like 8 hours. If you fly, it would be less than 4 hours.

If you were in Hawaii, it takes like 9 ours to fly to NYC.

Where does your friend get the idea that everyone is like 4 hours away from NYC?

Your friend is wrong. If you live in Los Angeles and get on a plane to NYC, then you take at least 6 hours to get there. And it's often a 5 or 6-hour flight from Hawaii to Los Angeles, so that means it's a 12-hour trip.

New York City is not near the center of the country. It's far more likely that the four-hour claim is more true about someplace like Saint Louis or Chicago.

Of course not! IF you live in Australia it will obviously not take only 4 hours. From Hawaii the quickest flight is 9 1/2 hours

Obviously not! It takes less than that from CT, and much more if in a different continent for example. Is your friend okay, like mentally stable? No offense of course, but seriously!

It takes hours to fly there from europe, even parts of America can be rather hard to get there in under four hours, not really too possible

no this is not true. it took 12 hours to get to nyc from tokyo japan on my trip from the philippines to nashville stopping in nyc. it only took 2 hours to get to nashville from nyc, but if you count time in the airport at nyc make it 4 hours. your friend is dumb on this matter.

IF you are serious about this, either your friend is not smart at all OR she is saying this because she knows you are gullible enough to believe it!
