An anonymous person is messaging me through a cellphone. He knows every minute details about me & my personal life. When i call on that number, he disconnects the phone. How can i trace this person with the help of internet or any other source?

hey the answer is quite simple jus ask any of ur gal friends to call from a pco claiming to be a marketing person and try to enquire details abt him atleast his name... guys like this genreally do any thing for a contact of a gal if she speaks sweet.... or jus book a complaint wit your cell ph company and the cyberpolice...... here in chennai cyber police does work .......but do try the 1st thing as i feel he is a known person of urs as noone else will konw all u do .....

If this person ever makes any kind of threat, call the police, that would be enough for them to be able to use the GPS on his phone to find his location, anything other than that and the police really will not help you.

I would be changing some phone numbers and e-mail adds. This sounds creepy. Try googling his number. You should make a report to someone. Somebody should know about it that way if something happens then you have something to base it on.

first of all look it up in the address book u have at home or ask ur parents if they know the number. if u can't find it in the address book then paste the number on a search engine like yahoo and it should come up. hope u find out who the person is.

Contact your cell phone company immediately and report the harassment. Also contact you local police departement and find out if what he is doing is illegal in your state (many states have very strict anti- stalking laws). Document everything and take proper measures to protect yourself.
