as long as you dont mean still living at home with mom & dad, then yes. better unmarried than bitter about a divorce paying alimony and child support.

I don't know if acceptable is the right phrase. I've heard some people wonder why guys over 30 are still living at home. That's something I'd have a problem with. But, if there's a guy who hasn't found just the right lady to marry, I think it's perfectly fine for him to remain single. Why lock himself into a relationship that's one-sided? My nephew is 32 and single. He's dated a few ladies, but they all want to have fun at his expense, without getting married. He wants to get married and have kids. They want to party. So, he's going back to school and looking into starting his own business. My sister and I are both hoping that Mrs. Right will come along soon, and complete his life. I do know that some guys remain single, because it's something they've chosen for their lives. There are two Christian singers I'm aware of (Carman and Rich Mullins, who died a few years ago) who have taken the vow of celibacy, in order to keep their focus on their music & serving God. So, I think it's better to not marry than to marry too quickly, just because your time clock is ticking away. <*)))><

Of course. It seems that pretty much anything goes in our society these days. There is nothing wrong with being 30 and never married or single.
one question though.....Do you live with your parents? j/p

Absolutely. It's ok for a man to be 40+, 50+ or even older and to be single and never married.

Finding your mate has no deadline on it. Don't get married just because others are pressuring you to do so.

it is very acceptable although many men that age do get teased about it at that age, which i think is wrong.
