Either its out of balance-stop the washer and distribute clothes evenly in weight-turn back on and if much quieter you've solved the problem -could be brushes but best thing is to get repair man -call several for sometimes if you get a quote the others will go down a bit to get the job----must be solved for eventually you'll have a large repair bill or ruined unit not built to take constant extreme vibrations

Drum bearings fail with terrible regularity on Aristons. I had an Ariston on a service contract for about ten years and I had three sets of drum bearings. Eventually the drum itself flew apart and rendered the machine unrepairable. Thinking about it the first set of drum bearings went around the 4-year old time.....

Hi sounds like the brushes have worn away.. they are cheap to buy and you can change them yourself.. they are located near the motor... if you go to a repair/spares outlet for electrical equipment they should give you some advice..
I have had the same thing with mine.. i paid £20.00 and did the job myself..its really easy...but was quoted £80 for an engineer to do it for me....

It may not be level, all washing machines need to be level otherwise they will bang around a lot.
