Your husbands sperm is what decides the sex of your baby,so tell him that.My husband wanted a son so bad and we had a girl and he has such a bond with her she is daddy"s little girl. There is something special about a father protecting his baby girl.Don't stress it sweetie he will be happy either way.I know you feel like if he doesn't have a son that you failed his expectations as a father but you will realize the sex of your child makes no difference as long as he is healthy.

WHAT? He'd be disappointed??? AND he wants one at the same time?!?! PRIME example of WHY women can't please men!!! You can't be nervous about this....you'll get whatever beautiful boy or girl that you're meant to have. I was a little nervous, I admit when I was pregnant with my first..so this is completely natural..but you have ssssooooo many other things to occupy your mind, that worrying about if HE is satisfied with the sex of the baby is just something so small and insignificant. I want to please my husband in every area of life, (and he, me too) but you've gotta pick your battles. So, to answer your main question...YES I was nervous about the sex, too...like, is a girl or boy more difficult...will my husband be to hard on him if it's a boy or too rough with a girl....but, most men that are married (aren't perfect, but..) will try their hardest to be a great dad!!! So don't worry....and let your husband know that no matter the sex, you know that he'll be a great dad...and it doesn't matter if it's a boy...girls like baseball and football too.....CONGRATS, AND GOOD LUCK

I've had two girls and now I'm due in March. My husband really wants this one to be a boy because we decided it will be our last. He's never said he would be disappointed if it was another girl but I kinda think he will. Either way boy or girl he'll be happy as long as it's healthy.

It is normal to be nervous and excited and fearful and anxious and happy and terribly sad and anything and everything else when pregnant. You both have preferences, but you both are a part of the baby and will truly be happy with either a boy or a girl. Just go with the flow and let your hormones have their way. When the baby is born all that stuff will be forgotten. Shoot - have a dill pickle dipped in butterscotch and Laugh Out Loud. Hope this helps.

Well, let me tell you when that baby comes it won't matter boy or girl. Your husband will be wrapped around it's teeny tiny finger. My husband really wanted a boy first. Just so happened that we got one. I'm currently pregnant with our second and we just found out it was a girl. I think my husband was a bit disappointed because he grew up with his brother and most of his cousins are boys. I think he is terrified because he thinks he won't know what to do with a girl. He was just outside playing catch with a football with my son. He loves playing with my son and I think it worries him because he won't know what to do with a girl because they are supposed to like different things. I think he's gotten used to the fact that it's a girl though. I tell ya though, everytime I see a shirt or onesie that says something about "Daddy's girl" or Daddy's anything I buy it and show it to him and tell him how cute she is going to be and such. I think that actually helps. I can see it in his eyes that he takes a minute to think about it and how it's going to be great with a little girl, just like our son. Hang in there. He will get used to it either way and like I said once that baby comes it won't matter..he'll realize he wouldn't want it any other way.

No but my sister in law had 2 boys and when she found out she was having a third she was upset she wanted to have a girl. Now that he is born she couldn't have been happier so just wait once he sees the baby it won't matter to him, and if it does you need to find another man b/c he should love his children no matter how they look or the gender!!

A baby is the fruit of your love. If you and your husband have a very found relasionship, you have nothing to worry about because boy or girl, that child is a representative of your profound, everlasting love.

all men want a boy, no matter where u come from/race. if its a girl, don't worry, he will be happy. this is not a time for u to be nervous either. yes, i have felt the same way. i do have one of each and it is pressure to produce a boy.

Not quite like that, but I remember being nervous because I was was sure I was going to have a girl, but during the ultrasound, my baby wouldn't show anything so I felt unsure. I did end up with a girl though. :)
Good luck.
