You should research what are these schools are good at. What do they specialize in. Do they have larger admission in ballet, or in Jazz? Find out about their programs as much as you can. In technical field, It is possible and even adviseabe to apply with different subjects to different schools. I don't see why woudn't it be the same with dancing.

I would do ballet, but consider which type you are strongest in with your technique? Technique is key! You can be a great performer but without technique, your not that great anymore. Consider talking to some of the older students already in the programs and see if they can give you insight to what the profs want to see. What ever you do dance your hardest and most importantly HAVE FUN DOING IT! I know they want to see your passion and love for dance!

i think jazz or tap would be easier for you but if you want a challenge then take ballet. i took ballet for a year and it was demanding considering how young i was. jass and tap were always more interesting to me but that just my opinion so i say jazz or tap.

ballet requires a lot of discipline and is highly regarded. jazz is much more applicable to other forms of dance, such as street jazz or funk/hiphop. it all depends on what you want to do as a career.
