My 15 year old, male cousin asked me to shape his eyebrows for him. I would do anything for him, so without hesitation i plucked it. His sister, who is 22 walked into the room and went berserk. saying that if i want to 'funny' then its up to me, but i shouldn't try to 'turn' her kid brother.
I mean her reaction was pretty strong. I am closer to him than she is, as i looked after him when he was a baby... he has never had a gf and he is a tad camp. Even my gaydar is going off the scales...hmmm.
I was thinking about it earlier on today and i was wondering:
a) was he trying to show me that he accepts me?
b) was he just trying to tell me that he is gay?
c) is he just expressing himself?
d)is he just metrosexual- and wants to look good?
please do let me know what you think, should i approach him? take him out with me to see how he responds in the scene. He is always asking me about the scene, and im just adding up the sums...

yeah, he is really into himself. and shows no interest in girls. i was just a little concern, as i was like that. unfortunently fro me i had no older gay cousin to help me. I dont want him making the same mistakes i did.(marriage, kids etc)

Nah, at 15 just leave the door wide open and easy for him to come talk to you. If he ever shows up and seems nervous or apprehensive, just tell him the most important thing in life is to simply be honest with yourself and that there isn't a thing he could say that would make you feel differently about him. Your cousin is still a kid and probably needs to figure some stuff out for himself. He could be A-D and maybe some other places as well. If you know a scene that is really teen focused and he keeps asking, offer to take him there. No point putting him in with an older crowd until he's more mature. I'd say the same for a straight kid, too. :) Besides, it's not apt to be well received by the family if you are seen as "influencing" him. So, maybe talk to his parents a bit, too. Communication, ya know, it's good for everybody.

Not nessicarily,
A: That would be a nice thought
B: Could but be cautious, he could be seeing whether you come on to him.
C: a possiblility
D: a more certain possibility.
As for going on the scene, i suggest don't plunging them into the deep-end, just go to a quiet gay-bar, then gradually build up, if he starts getting closer to any other males, this doesn't mean he is gay, it could mean he's either experimenting or he's bi-sexual/curious.

May be he just wants to like nice and have eye brows that are symmetrical. Theres nothing with that. Its a 21st century thing. Unless he likes ****, then hes not gay. But then, he might be straight, bisexual, asexual, etc. At 15, I'd say its probably too early to know. Give him chance to grow up a bit and make his mind up. Just ensure that you support him in whatever he does (as long as its legal).

A metrosexual is a term given to guys who are into things more typical of females (shopping, clothes, manicures, facials, etc.) Years ago guys like that were called "dandies". But it doesn't necessarily mean they're gay. Some metros actually seem asexual, and more into themselves.

I remember reading an article in the Reader's Digest about Metrosexuals. They are Guys who like to look nice and groomed but are not gay! It's alright to be close to your cousins and to be good friends with them!

I have this cuz who loves to look good. Love girls and is completely obsessed with his looks. He does facials with me but I don't think he is gay. your case sounds like it could go either way. I'd suggested going to hang with him were its just the two of you and see if he opens up or talk to him about it. ask his opinion on GBLT people and see how he reacts
