know what you mean... looks like a few good ones on the way though;
Click (Adam Sandler), World Trade Centre (Nicholas Cage), The Guardian (Ashton Kutcher/Kevin Costner) and The Departed (Matt Damon / Leonardo di Caprio/Jack Nicholson)...

I thought "Poseidon" was pretty decent for an update. It had its own originality. I enjoyed "Cars" (It stands out in a glut of computer-animated movies. Beautifully done.), "Superman Returns" and "The Descent" this year ("The Descent" could become a horror classic, I think). You're right, the pickings are slim.

when the orginal cast of grease comes back and does a 25 year reunion show. I have sent numerous emails requesting that. But no one is taking it serriously. I think it would be great to see Sandy 25 years later and the rest of the gang.

Don't know, I'm looking forward to the Transformer movie though, hope it's not a disappointment. Loved the cartoons when i was a kid, and those Citroen (i think) adverts prove it can be done well. They just need to get good voices and a decent story line, here's hoping.

Last great movie I saw was the 40 Year Old Virgin...
There haven't been any Forrest Gumps, Bravehearts, or Scarfaces lately. There haven't even been any Collaterals or Training Days recently...
I'm looking forward to Borat.

I dont know, but a wish they could put on a really good horror film. None of them seem to scare me anymore, even when I sit and watch them alone in the dark!

30th November (UK) - The Last Kiss, it looks pretty good
The last great film I saw in the cinema was Lucky Number Slevin, I loved it! I've seen a few films since then, but none of them were as good as that I reckon.

Yeah, the movies the last few years have been sucking. Besides a few notables (Pirates, Harry Potter) they've all pretty much sucked.
