mid life crisis in men what is the cause and the remedy to cure it.

I have found that most men are not happy to express their feelings anyway. But mid-life crisis seems to be an all-consuming thing when it strikes.
I think, for them, it feels like a sense of aging which they are scared of and would like to stop continuing. Along with that is a realisation that they haven't experienced certain things in their life (like riding Harleys, or hang-gliding), or that they are missing certain things they used to do (like being more promiscuous, or going out drinking with their mates).
The remedy?? I don't think anyone's ever found a remedy, but maybe if their partner joins in with some of their new hobbies and pays more attention like she used to when they were younger and newer? Also, if he's the kind of man who can realise he has hit a mid-life crisis, maybe try and discuss things with him and take it for what it is and enjoy it for a bit??

Just thoughts.

By the time men hit their early 40's they realize women don't care about their feelings, only their bank account! So they decide to spend what is in their bank account on a nice shiny convertible. As long as the man is going to be looked at as an ATM, he is going to find something that looks better than his 40 something year old wife! If women would just let us express ourselves, none of this would ever happen. Seriously :)
