since malkin has been indicted into the nhl, who now holds the title of best player that's not in nhl?

Mario Lemieux.............He made some great moves in the last game he played last year re-affirming his skill level. I would be very surprised to find any players anywhere in the world who have that skill level.....if they did, they would be in the NHL now.

It's not as clear anymore. Before Malkin came to the NHL, he was considered the number one player by everyone. Now there's a lot of choices. Maybe Erik Johnson.
