I am looking for a freelance artist for my church to create a statue of St. Michael. Can use various materials, such as clay, stone, wood etc. And we need it to be unique (not a copycat) plus more in the appearance of a mighty warrior (not mistaken as a cute fairyish angel) Church funds are limited. But it shall be viewed by many people within the United States and Canada since we are in the US yet only 7 miles from the boarder so we have a bi-national congregation.

If you plan to have life size depending on the material shipping can turn out very expensive.
Apart from potential problems with shipping it would be best for social interactions and community spirit to work with a local artist.
Usually newspapers or weekly event papers have some column: "call for artists" where you can describe what you need. You could have a competition for it, where you can pick among the entries the proposal you like best, which is the usual way to go. Otherwise you could talk to the art editor of your newspaper (he/she should after all know the local artists reasonably well) for recommendations.
If there is a art school or university with an art program not too far from where you live contact some teacher in the sculpture programs. Students would be probably most willing to trade no/little fee for exposure. Otherwise professional sculptors also have to live, and a lot of sculpture materials are expensive. (in 3d prices of material and difficulties with larger sculpture increase by power of 3!)
Make sure before anybody starts you get a model/proposal. Get it voted on by your community. You probably will experience a lot of different opinions at this stage. If you have worked already out what artistic style you would like, make sure you communicate this to the artist or pick an artist who likes to work in that style.

blue buffalo is between the most well known meals available immediately this one is geared up in a 33 lb. bag, that's domestic dog nutrition, which your canines could stay on till the age of two years. that's in elementary words $27.ninety 9 i imagine it quite is amazingly a lot, their individual nutrition is a touch on the steep area yet their domestic dog nutrition is less expensive, look into their different domestic dog meals also if this isn't as a lot as your criteria. the better section, you'll get it at your interior reach petsmart! EDIT: oops, they promote it in a 33 yet you could not purchase it, i guess that's particular order, so it quite is a 17 lb. bag for the 27.ninety 9 so yeah, i guess are their meals are a touch steep, even with the actuality that that's good high quality.
