Well, its better than having the house across the street with its alarm going off for THREE days... No one lived there yet and they didnt have the alarm monitered so NOBODY could do anything about it, not even the police. We were about to break in and cut the wire but I found the owners info through the clerk of courts... Then it happened about three more times! At least I had the info from that point on.

COMPLETE waste of time. How many people hear them, & think they are faulty, or somebody has gone past them, & started the alarm off. I've driven past a car before now, & started the alarm off! Anybody come out? NAH. During the dark hours may be different though

Totally useless cos the a s s oles have em set too damn sensitive so that they go offf if you break wind within 20 yards of the vehicle.
seriously A year or so ago at3;40 4;00 in the morning some neighbours and I manage to break/ disconnect the horn of one that had been going continually for an hour or so - no sign of the owner - probably paralytic!

I only pay attention if there is a chance of catching a little shite trying to pinch the car and smashing his fingers to pieces with a hammer. if its just the wind, then no, just turn the tv up louder.

Nope i pay no attention. If someone wants to pinch my car I figure they will do it anyway. Good luck them. If they can get it to work it will be a win win sitch as far as I am concerned.

They used to be set off by high winds, vibration etc thats why they were ignored. The modern ones are better, if mine goes off [it never has] I will know something is afoot.
