I'm in college and have a practical exam tomorrow and feel confident in myself, but I keep looking at the stuff over and over and over. Could I over study and screw myself up? That's what I feel like I'm doing, except I feel guilty if I'm not studying....!

It's definitely possible to overstudy. Your brain is only capable of doing something for so many hours at a time, before it just shuts off. That's why at this point you probably catch yourself "staring" at the words without reading them.

Put down your material and walk away. Watch a movie, paint a picture, eat a cheeseburger, do whatever you do to relax. Before you go to bed, review for a half-hour to an hour and then leave it alone. You'll feel much better if you get plenty of sleep, then you can review again in the morning over breakfast or something if you feel like you have to.

I've never had that problem. Still, if you feel confident, I'd stop studying. Take a break, have some fun. All work and no play, you know?

I would not keep looking over stuff, but do more problems (that's only if it is science).
