I was wondering if there is a cheap phone from any brand less than $40, not slide, and is a phone that you put minutes onto.

yeah, go with sprint, the phones free and the plan is a pre paid, and the phones not a p.o.s if you know what i mean, its a hot phone, good luck, o and there a great company, teehee

Go to Sprint, they have plenty of phones that you can get for free with a new activation account.

hmm u an get it for 5 fdllars at fliear market or go to some delaers and usually they have cheap on online like t-mobile.com

get a t-mobile from the local wal-mart or k-mart. Much better on minutes than a crappy tracfone

you could try opex wireless, they are not prepaid as such but there's no contract and you pay around $7 a month,calls cost 9.9cents,i know its not exactly what you asked for but it might be worth taking a look:)

you can get a tracfone they are only 20.00 bucks and some are even cheaper.
