I think too many times kids don't really know what a gun can do to a person. The kids are never taught how to handle a gun safely and how dangerous a gun can be. Adults keep guns in the house for protection, but they never warn their kids that the guns are not toys.

I grew up in a home with guns, and I know what a gun can do. I can't imagine pointing a gun at another person and threatening their life, unless my life was in danger. I was raised with a healthy respect for guns, and I will always have that.

I watch the news, I watch violent TV shows and movies, but that doesn't mean that I'm going to do something stupid with my gun.

All evidence thus far that links media violence with real-life violence show only a correlation. There is no definitive causal relationship.

That basically means that the two are probably linked, but we can't say for sure yet which causes which.

I believe allot, how many times have you heard the good things that have happened with firearms. You almost never hear of a female fending of a rapist or murderer. I think the biggest problem is the media doesn't want to put on the "air" the good things that do happen with firearms. If they did we wouldn't have a problem trying to keep them.

It's hard to say. But I can say this: since the release of the PlayStation, gun crimes have dropped substantially.

Violent video games aren't as dangerous as they're made out to be.
