I believe the USPS still has value. Problems? Yes. But let's face it mailing something for 39 cents is still a bargain. Automation has been a mixed blessing, and we need Postal reform. There is also a need to get rid of a lot of middle managment.

yes i do support the post office for taking my mail 3000 miles for the 37 cents or 39 cents, and yes they do make mistakes, but my mail that's coming from the other 3000 some miles should be put in the right mail box, this has cause me money to go out and get a P.O. box and they still can't get it right. to many mistakes come on now!!!!!

My stamp costs 39 cents and it takes the letter longer to go across town than from Texas to San Francisco. If the postal employees at my local post office would not take breaks every 15 to 20 minutes the customer line would not be out the door most of the day. I don't support the service, but do support the purpose.

I hate my post office back home. They are retarded. I moved to a new state and asked for a change of address slip. I shared my parents P.O. Box. But they were always so adiment about us putting our box number instead of street address and it would tick them off when we didn't. Sometimes they would write on the mail that it didn't have to P.O. Box number on it. And they had our names on our box so it wasn't that big of a deal. But I filled my form out before I moved and put my street address and I believe my P.O. Box too. But my mom said that she was up there and they were ranting about how I should have filled one out and she said I did. They are so frustrating. Even when you do what you are supposed to they have a fit about it. Other than that most post offices are fine by me. I have a country mailbox now so screw them.

I don't support the Postal service. like all government bureacracies, it is rife with ineffeciancies and poor management. the postal system would bennefit immensely from increased commpetion and and opening of the system. we actually pay more than we should for mail service because the government doesn't allow other companies into that market.

No, private industry could do it better. Look at FedEx and UPS for delivering packages. and isn't postage 39 cents now??

Shows how out of touch you are

Support them, are you Hercules? I find driving better it uses more gasoline selfishly and helps prevent global cooling and you meet a better class of people.
