Mass Media challenging our freedom to think for ourselves. Government bills releasing corporations from regulations effecting our future air quality and environment. Multi-conglomerate industries taking away diversity of natural foodstuff sickening us all with unreal food. The incredibly huge amount of smoke blowing in our faces, making it impossible to know the real story. (to mention a few)

the Military Commisions Act of 2006, which gives Bush the right to declare anyone, including an american citizen, an enemy combatant, and detain them and suspend their right to habeas corpus. none of this is subject to any judicial oversight whatsoever.

wire-tapping seemed ok during klintoon's regime...[eschelon"....but klintoon only tapped HIS enemies....wire tapping today traces the nations enemies.....and the patriot act allows agencies to confer with each other...which was blocked by jamie gorelick...if one fears the patriot act...one has something to hide......the media tries to tell us what to think.....other than that...we have more freedoms than any other nation.
