Last month I messed with my pills and postponed my period for a week. then i had my period and during it had sex. about 2 days after it was over i spotted for 3 consecative days in the late afternoons only. I took a pregnancy test, and it came back negative, but i haven't actually missed a period yet and shouldnt for another 2 weeks if i keep taking my birth control so it seems like it could just be to early to take a test... but the spotting worries me. i have never ever had this before

Spotting is probably from when you messed with your pills. You might have built up a bit of extra endometrial lining.
Wait till after your period and retake the pregnancy test.
If you have had unprotected sex (which you do not state, but I guess is implied by your question), there is a possibility you are pregnant.
