there may be some ingredient in the bubble bath that degrades over time, rendering the product useless..
most of the sundries that have expiration dates now is because it reduces the liability of the manufacturer, in case of some problem created by somebody having a reaction from using very old product..

Because fragrances and ingredients degrade over time. The product will still be bubble bath and work but not at the quality the company wants you to enjoy it at.Toothpaste for example loses its flavor and dries out.
