I don't know why people hate van helsing so much...i loved it...well the effects. between harry potter and the prisoner of azkaban, underworld, and van helsing i think van helsing's werewolf was the best. and the rest of the effects were great too, like Mr. hide and Dracula. yet people keep saying that the van helsing werewolf looks fake. so i would like to know who digs van helsing, and if the werewolves are better than other movies?

I loved Van Helsing! Not one of my favourites, but i'd watch it again any time. It was fun to watch. The effects were also pretty good. One of the scenes i loved was where the werewolf (Van Helsing) sharpened his nails on the wall. Awesome! Also the whole thing where they tear of the human flesh to unleash the beast was kickass.
The werewolf in Harry Potter looked more like a sick canine from Ghana. The ones in Underwold looked great, but they didn't feature enough. I also loved the werewolves in American Werewolf in Paris (the first werewolf movie to feature a full CGI werewolf by the way).
Out of all of them Van Helsing was the only movie to feature a werewolf that actually looked like a wolf though, the rest were more like....freakish bears mixed with pitbull terriers....

Du duh van helsing had the best effects ever (except for that other movie you know which one i am talking about )
The werewolves or lykins on underworld move like puppets and has no proper motion and the werewolf on Harry potter is like a great dane on on its hind legs so messed up.
And even dracula is awesome and the part where Mr hide loses his arm an it goes smaller so cool

I love Van Helsing. Its awesome. I like the werewolves. But I also like the ones in Underworld though. I love them both. They did awesome effects for the werewolves and everything else.

I thought it was pretty good, but the werewolves in underworld are better in my opinion.

I enjoyed that movie, and i still don't get why people didn't';t like it. You gotta admit...Hugh Jackman is an amazing actor...and he is gorgeous!
