I've heard about Romania. It is a country in eastern Europe that used to be a part of the Warsaw Pact and the Kingdom of Hungary.

I have heard it first time in your question! But I know it is the country of NADIA the gymnast. THe country is in eeurope & it is communist.
I want to note a point. There is no considerable participation of Romania in important events of world history which were turning point in world history. So how would you think that the people all over the world know Romania. In case of european people they must know Romania. But there is no point that other people from asia, africa, australia, america etc. compulsorily have knowledge about Romania. So don't blame their history. If you want that all over the world people know about Romania, then first do something notable in world History. Then we will compulsorily study about Romania in history.

Romania is in Europe and belong to Valkan countries,its surrounded by hungary,mogolia and Bulgaria.Very nice country to visit..if y have heard about Carpathian,it at the north part of romania..

Of course, i live there. South eastern Europe. Surrounded by Ukraine, Hungary, Serbia, Bulgaria and the Black Sea, the country is not communist anymore.

Yes, a beautiful country, more westernized than people think. there is still poverty, but anywhere in sibui, Transylvania is gothic, INCREDIBLE. Timisoara, Brasov and the lovely Constanta...also the woman are beautiful :) I am moving there next year for work.
