There is no age limit. Some religions actually require that women's hair never be cut.

When it is too much of a problem for you to take care of it. If it does not cause you too much trouble to maintain it, then enjoy your hair while it is still there. After all, you are the one that is taking care of it in the first place. Some prefer only short hair while others only long. If it does not bother he ones who enjoy being with you, then that is all that matters.

After 40 I had to go to shorter hair. I looked to old and like a hag but that is only me and how I felt. Anyone can wear their hair anyway they like.

on the age you think of it is optimal........ as long as you sense comfortable and appropriate with it on your waist.... shop it! If anybody thinks it must be short enable them to shave THEIR head and bypass away you alongside with your determination and style

I am 51 and I have long hair. I have always had long hair and I cannot imagine not having it. I like feeling it on my arms and back. It is my security blanket. I think you should wear your hair any way that you damn well please.
