1st and 2nd in the series of how Peter became Peter Pan. I love them and I am 39 and so does my 14 year old daughter.

Jean M Auel - Earth's Children Series. Starts with Clan of the Cave Bear and continues with 4 others and counting.
Excellent read, informative, creative, entertaining.

I really enjoyed " A Lesson Before Dying" by Ernest J. Gaines. Very powerful. Another great book was "The Red Tent" by Anita Diamant (sp?).

You need to get my mom's books! My mother is Dianne Henderson, author of The Miller's Pond Mystery Series.

i am not even kidding the outsiders is the best book ever. you will probaly fall in love with the characters its that great. its about greasers and socs. greasers are like gothic kids today and socs are like preps today. its just a fantastic book i have read it like a million times it never gets old.

If you like fantasy, then why not try Robin Hobb. She usually writes in sets of three, which I like as I find the story lines suitably epic.
