A client and good friend of mine has just had her third baby boy. She's a client of my company and I'd like to buy something to celebrate. Any suggestions would be welcomed. I've got as far as a food hamper so far!

Why not make your own basket up, with things like baby bath stuff towels wid the huds on, baby grows, bibs, bottles, teethers, just go into a store pick bits out that go upto your budget buy a lil basket lay it all out (artistically) go to a florists get some celopane, add a big bow, and there you have a professional looking gift basket at a fraction of the cost!!

They probably have their fill of all things blue, but by the third child, the hand-me-downs from the other kids are probably getting pretty worn out. Sleepers are always a good bet because that's what babies are usually kept in and they get stained and worn out fairly quickly.

Of course, as this is their third kid, you could get something for the parents instead of for the kid! Dinner reservations are always nice if you know they would have no trouble getting a babysitter.

Why not put together a whole bunch of stuff for her- a pack of diapers, a couple blankets, a few baby sleepers and be sure to throw in some bath oils or lotions for mom and maybe a gift certificate to a nice restaurant for mom and dad to get a meal away?

My friend put together a little hamper for me with nappies, wipes, baby bath all the essentials plus a couple of bits to pamper myself with. Obviously you may not want to spend to much money but a small basket with a few choice items should go down well.

as a mom of three, when my husband and I brought our daughter home. Friends and family had brought already cooked meals. All I had to do was take them out of the freezer and heat them up. A gift for her as well. Everyone tends to be focused on the new baby mom kinda gets pushed aside. Give her a gift cert.for a pedi- cure or something like that. I also got a gift. cerft for a massage and it was heavnly!!

i would buy an outfit or pack of vests or somthing but not for now buy for later on as she prob got tonnes of stuff for now maybe a special outfit or u could start a trust fund sort of thing its thought ful for the childs future if ur buying for her then a nanny would b a gooden kiddin for her i would buy a memory box or somthing so she can put the babys bits i.e. ambilical cord clip hospital clips that sort of thing or scrap book mayb u could get some soothing music or somthing relaxin for her like a foot spa or specia bath oils so it look like the thoguht was for the purpose not just ur average bubbles or my personal fav a gift box wif odds and ends for both goin bac to the scrap book memory box idea put those in plus a special money box and toy chlothes for the baby make it bout both of them coz its so easy to forget the mother who has just given birth wen the baby actually arrives hope these giv u some ideas but the most important thign i would bare in mind is originality thought and to think bout both of them but adress it individually like for the baby i got the and for u this mothers feel forgotten wen babys being cooed over i did lol

Boots do a lovely baby baskets i got my friend 1 and she loved it. it has everything from baby grows to bottles they have a lot of lovely use full thing for a newborn baby boy but the thing is you can use the big basket as a toy box when they are older but they are around sixty pounds but they are worth it and being her third child she would appreciate the toy space. from mum of 3

Something fun! Like a cute toy for the kid, or a gift certificate for a spa treatment for the mom. I'm sure that after the third kid, the family's got all the practical baby stuff they need.

A wonderful gift for any new mom would be a temporary housekeeper. Hire someone to come in once a week and do all the weekly chores that this busy mom won't have the time or the energy to do herself for awhile.
