The 2000 civic is such an unbelievable DOG why would you even bother racing it? Oh but you've installed a fart can on it, so now you think it's quick. Guess again. It's slow. If the WRX doesn't beat it, it's only because the driver's right foot fell off in the middle of the race. And not that the WRX is fast but the 2000 civic is like a high 15 - low16 second car even with your fart can on it.

Sorry, but staying even with a 140hp jap econobox isn't what I'd be advertising. I beat those with a 4 door 93 ford escort. If you couldn't walk away from a 240sx in any m3, it's either a poor driver, a mechanical problem, or not a real m3. Against a highly modified WRX, the only hope the BMW would have is that the WRX blows up its glass transmission.

In the end...the intake and exhaust aren't going to make a difference at all.
The WRX will pull on the Si but it wont blow the doors off.
I've raced a few WRX's with my Si back when it was pretty stock and they pulled on me but they didn't get much further than a couple car lengths.

Now its a completely different story though...my Si has been extensively worked over and I blow the doors off my buddy's WRX...and just about every other one I see on the road....except for the mighty STI's of course...

It depends on how good the drivers are too...

You'll get off quicker, but the Si will run rings around you in a curve.

Unless its an STI, both of those cars aren't worth racing
