i have depression, ever since i got help i have felt a lot better, but lately i have been thinking negative again and that starting to scare me. because i don't want to feel the sickness of depression. i'm on prozac 20mg, I am 25 and weigh 200 lbs. do u think i should talk to my docor about uping it? If u are on prozac how much do u take for it to work for u?

No the feelings never go away... the meds just make the feeling less sharp... so you can deal with things and understand the cause of it better... to that you can start the recovery faster.
Before the meds... it feels like everything is uphill and just endless. but with the meds.. feels like you have a flat plateau that you can stop and rest for a while to see if there is something that can be done. Good luck.

prozac is an increasing drug so yes your dose may also eed to be upped, however you may also want to consider finding a professional to speak with also o a regular basis to find out why these feelings and thoughts are coming up, what is triggering them and how to change it. Psychological medications are designed to be used with counseling

No my human beings finally stated bypass.........I wound up again quite a few cases by the yrs,even in my beginning 30's i lived at living house.i'm no longer right here to lie,i communicate reality it really is a tuff international obtainable.yet all of us imagine we can do it at a youthful age and ya can't!!

when one takes meds for depression they work for a while with the dosage the doctor gives you, after awhile it seems to not work as well as before, let your doctor know about this and the doctor will increase your dosage...it is wise to let your doctor know about these things as they happen..
