It's nothing to do with evolution. Evolution assumes that animals went about for thousands of generations with necks too short to reach the ground and eventually the necks grew to the right length.

The right answer is their legs are the right length to allow their heads reach the ground. And that assumes that it is necessary that their heads need to reach the ground comfortably. Look at Giraffes, their heads only need to reach the ground while drinking.

The truth of the matter is that there are, in the animal kingdom, some species that have to splay their front legs in order to reach food and water. I'm sure with a little research you can find out exactly what animals those are.

Hi. For mostly the same reason your legs are just the right length to reach the ground.

The neck is not the only part that moves. They can bend their joints to lower their entire body. They can also choose to eat something their own height instead of chewing all the way to the root.

They're not. Some animals have to bend or splay their legs to get their heads to the ground - check out a giraffe drinking!

The weak anthropic theory states that we see things the way they are because they are that way. If they were different then we either wouldn't be here to see them or they wouldn't be there for us to see. The grazers wouldn't be grazers if their necks weren't of the grazing length.

this is true, natural selection would see them die a natural death (starvation) and survival of the fittest would see the ones with the right length necks survive! Or they would evolve into animals with shorter legs!

Weird that! Their feet only just touch the ground too.
