I personally don't find them comfortable. Walking and sitting with them is very uncomfortable.

They say it's uncomfortable at first then they have to get used to it but a lot just can't

A normal healthy woman "can". She may have tried it once, didn't quite get it right and now thinks she "can't". Or maybe she just does't want to.
