Mrs Robinson was by the sublime Simon & Garfunkel rather than the Beatles. It's in The Graduate, as is The Sound Of Silence.
I particularly loathe Travis and The Beautiful South. They've this whimsical aren't-we-clever? thing going on which irritates me a good deal. To make matters worse, my wife loves the BS and plays all their stuff all the time!

I don't like country+western or even Johnny Cash, but I do like 'Personal Jesus'. I will admit that part of the reason is that I'm a fan of Depeche Mode who did the original, but Johnny Cash really does this song really well.

i admire the lyrics in appealing Soul by potential of Jesse McCartney. they are so straightforward and appealing and that i generally think of myself as being the only to write down that and sing it to a girl.
