I am headed to Vegas during the 3rd week of October with a few friends we are all female and in our mid to late 20's. We are trying to plan a night that includes dinner at a somewhat "swanky" moderately priced restaurant. A place that doesn't require a gown but also requires more than a pair of jeans and a t-shirt for dining attire. We really want to go to a trendy place with good food and good ambience. Type of food is flexible. We will be staying at the Paris so anything close to that would be ideal. Any suggestions?

So far we have been directed to Tao (Venetian), Stack (Mirage), Samba (Mirage)and The Red 8(Wynn). Has anyone been to any of these places? If so, how was the food? What type of attire would be appropriate?

Nero's at Caesar's is very nice, not too swanky. and the food is excellent as well as the service.
Check out www.cheapovegas.com They got an entire listing of all the restaurants searchable by food type, swankiness, and price.
I would not recommend Zefferino's at the Venetian. The staff rushs you and the food was nothing specatular.

I had a wonderful experience at Le Provençal, but Les Artistes Steakhouse and Mon Ami Gabi are also exquisite! Have a great trip! =)

Use the unofficial guide to las vegas, Reason for it, they recommend for age group as well as review. Check it out at the book store for 2007 with latest updates, if it meets your needs buy it. It will more than pay for other ideas you never thought of while in Las Vegas.
See Link below if you just want to buy it.

Carrabba's. Excellent food, casual or dressy, reasonable priced. There's one in Henderson and one in the west part of Vegas...take the215, exit Charleston. Go east to ft. Apache and its on the right.
