You have to learn basic grammar and spelling. Secondly, you have to probably be japanese to write anime.

I don't remember saying anything about her having to be japanese to draw anime, if that were the case then that makes me Japanese. Writing and drawing are completely different aspects( note I said that she probably has to be japanese, I didn't say that couldn't do it). I do agree with what you mentioned about the process of becoming a mangaka.

You don't have to be Japanese to draw anime.
You have to think of a basic storyline that a lot of people will be attracted to, and then post it somewhere or send it to an editor to see if its good enough to get published. Then you have to find someone to draw the pictures for you.
