I've seen a 350 V-8 Chevrolet engine put in a motorcycle, so anything is possible.

This doesn't mean it is a smart thing to do. The 2 motors have nothing in common. You'd need to either use the entire drivetrain (motor and trans) from the Nissan and then have custom driveshafts built, or have an adapter plate fabricated.

None of your accessories will fit. The computer controls will all be different and incompatable.

The motor mounts won't fit.

The exhaust won't fit.

With extensive welding and fabrication it could be done, but I don't know why anyone would want to do such a thing.

If someone managed to talk me into doing such a thing, I would want at least $5000 to $10,000 for the conversion, and I probably would feel underpayed by the time I got through!

On a scale of automotive lunacy, your idea is one that I would say is slightly above taking a late '80s Pontiac LeMans and stuffing a Buick V6 in where the back seat used to be, or putting a Supra suspension into a '65 Mustang. I have seen backyard mechanics pull off both of those, though. If you know how to use a MIG welder, can get your hands on an engine hoist and a Sawzall, have a year or so to get this all straightened out, and are comfortable splicing your own wiring harness together based on reading the Skyline's and Corolla's wiring diagrams, you should have about what it takes to do this.

The Skyline's inline six is fairly long - you can't turn it sideways to install it in the same fashion as the Corolla's engine. Instead, you will need to either convert the Corolla to rear wheel (or all wheel) drive using a custom fabricated rear susepsnion, or do something like machine an adapter to attach the engine to the transaxle out of an Oldsmobile Toronodo or a '70s era Cadillac Eldorado. Then take a Sawzall and ruthlessly hack anything in the engine compartment that gets in the way out of there, whether it's the inner fenders or the firewall, and find a way to make new ones.
