Yes, I think it looks completely dated and just a bit shabby to be honest. The cost of airing a TV advert is so high - you might as well pay the extra to film one in the correct language, it'll look more professional at the very least.

I have been wondering for a while if their adverts are so bad that they attract attention to then come out with a brilliant advert as a follow-up.
There was a brilliant Cillit Bang Remix version on Your Tube, but after having looked (wanting to share the link with you) I found this message:
"This video has been removed at the request of copyright owner Media Records Ltd because its content was used without permission "
So obviously they are just awfully bad without a deeper, more intelligent marketing strategy!
So the answer to your question is: Yes, I do hate everything about them!

I do indeed.
It's ridiculous very much when they get foreign adverts and just record english ones over it (like the colgate one where he sits in the girl's car and wants to brush his teeth but instead chews the gum).
What's more ridiculous is when they've recorded an english one but they have to record one in a studio so it sounds completely different (such as the one with Holly from SMTV in the yoghurt advert where it roughly looks sync'd but very badly and seemingly unnecessary)
It's really annoying, stupid, makes me hate the advert and think badly of the company/brand the advert is representing...
Cillit Bang is a really bad one; I actually watched arabic TV and saw the same exact advert with arabic dubbing and they used the english guy's voice to say his name...it was so messed up, does it cost so much more to film the same thing with different guys than to record them?

Admittedly I do hate it, but at the same time find it amusing! People like Barry Stott or Scott or whatever do provide good excuses to shout at people though! You know the situation, someone peeves you and you shout back at them. Feeling worried they may get offended when in the long run you do actually want to stay friendly with them, a big smile at the end of the sentence and the statement "I'm Barry Stott!" usually calms the room down!

That is unbelievably annoying!!
TV companies get enough money to make their own advert rather than nicking a dodgy Dutch, Danish, German etc.. advert and dubbing over it, so the actors look like they have a speech defect!!
Good Question!

Yes and I don't know why Barry Scott feels the need to shout at me.
