how to remove the center console on 98 altima?

a piece of jewlery fell into the crack between the handbreak and the console. i see two screws. one on each side, right between the seats and the console. any other steps i should know about before tryin to pull it out??

I am not particularly familiar with that little car, but as a general rule, it is just a matter of nuts and bolts. Look to see what has to be removed to access the console, and take it out.
If this appears a bit complex on your car, try the library. In the REFERENCE section, you can find repair and shop manuals describing the necessary steps for removal.
