Absolutely, another hOWLer of a season coming up. Any manager worth his salt would have the team moving by now. He is not progressive enough!!!

Why sack Sturrock. Whoever you get can't turn poor players into championship contenders.
Be realistic, my old team Stockport County, did well for a few years and then money or rather lack of it resulted in drastic action. Look where they are now and they had a few reasonable managers.
Chelsea have proved that money is the only way forward so find someone gullible enough to pump millions in and pray.

Well Sturrock was an excellent manager of Plymouth Argyle. Took him about 2 years to get it how he wanted it. Then we went up as champs twice with him in charge. It was the attitude of the prima donnas at Southampton that messed that move up for him. At the time everyone was in mourning that he left us. Too many managers aren't given the time to get things how they want them to achieve the results they want. Ferguson at Man Utd is the classic case in point. They didn't win much when he first went there, but the subsequent events proved the long term view was the better one.
Have faith.

Why do people continue to pay good money to watch such rubbish?

Instead of buying season tickets owls fans should gave the money to a local charity, that way they will have the satisfaction of knowing they have contributed to a good cause.

They could but unless they can attract somebody better there would be little point. When did Sheff Wed last have a manager that did anything better?
