There is no opposite to God. I do believe that everything has an opposite, but in terms of God - there is no opposite. God is the ultimate in truth and is not in space in time. God does not require an opposite.

Philosophically speaking the opposite of god would be some sort of anti-god entity
For example in Christianity God VS. Satan.
In religious terms though this is not strictly true because not all religions are as binary as Christianity. What God and Satan represent in Christianity is Good and Evil but other religions through the ages have not been so specific.
For example Zeus and the rest of the Olympian Gods in ancient Greece were not a concentration of Good nor a concentration of Evil.
Now, putting the Good VS Evil argument to one side there is a possibility of interpreting God as a supreme being - meaning above man. In that case man becomes the opposite of God in terms of where they stand. Namely God above - man below. Note that Christianity for example has an extra tier in this argument: God above - Satan below and man in the middle battling it out.

If you ask the question then I'm thinking you believe there is a God. So then the Opposite of God is the Anti-God. if there is a name for the opposite of God i'd like to know as well. Holy-Evil Good-Bad...who knows?

First I will tell you that the opposite of God is NOT satan.
Thats like saying the opposite of something is something else. Actually, the opposite of something is nothing.
Therefore, the opposite of God is no God....

If the bible is true, God created man in his own image. Therefore the only true opposite and opponent of God must be Mrs God.

Being godless, I would imagine. I wouldn't want to say the devil, though, because I am not sure I believe in the devil. Saying that...I am not sure I believe in God either. Perhaps the opposite of God is to have one's own sense of spirituality and not need a god-like faith.

You've got 35 answers so far! well done, if you asked "what is the opposite of "dog"? many would instinctively say "cat", so to extend that, lots should say the opposite of "God" is "Tac", if you know what I mean... This must be the answer: "Tac" is the opposite of "God".
But I guess the devil will win as usual.

The opposite of GOD is nothing. Satan was a fallen angel, and man was created. Without GOD there is nothing. GOD is the only exception to the rule of opposites.

Higher power is absolute. The universe has no opposite. It is all encompassing. To a fish, what is the water's opposite in which it swims? Does the fish even know about air and so on? I find in my mind them to be very similar situations.
