Im not Christian But Im sure even if someone commits the worst sin ever he still could go to heaven if he regrets what he has done and ask for mercy truly deeply and honestly..
Because God itself created the fealing Forgiveness And thatswhy it must be more merciful than any creature it created...

Apparently it depends on your God. It seems that in Islam torture, burning alive, hanging and slow beheading is acceptable. But in Christianity playing loud music or scaring your enemy is a sin. Not sure that I understand why.

Hi. There are many ways to torture people, including emotional torment. The "Golden Rule", if applied, would eliminate most forms.

When you're at war with terrorists, what torture could you use that would be as bad as what the terrorists have already done and plan to do in the future? If you are at war for your life, the rules change!!! If we have to use torture to get information that will ultimately save thousands of lives, we need to do it.

Yes, torture is a sin. You can be forgiven, but you have to stop doing it, or it doesn't count.

Forget about sin. It's evil, inhumane, and downright wrong. Anyone who tortures people is a psychopath, or has been trained (brainwashed) by very evil people.
I met two young men in Nicaragua whose parents had been tortured to death by the contras. They told me the young man who'd done the torturing had been captured and told his captors that that was his job, what he had been trained to do. (By the CIA, incidentally.)

Who are you tourturing and why? What do you consider torture, as there can be a very fine line line between what is right and what is wrong.
