A nice polo shirt or other casual shirt, either shorts or casual pants such as Dockers, and flip flops or sandals. It's in style to wear your shirt outside your pants so that takes care of the love handles. If your skin disorders include your feet, then by all means, wear tennis shoes and socks.

Hey Bob, we've got a pool in our back yard and at our pool parties, we love having everyone. (We're in our late 30's, early 40's) Just wear your regular ol' swim trunks. Preferably NOT a speedo. Bald and love handles are fine. Most people have them in real life, or some sort of not perfect body. As for the skin disorder, as long as it isn't contagious, or something that will be affected by the chemicals in the pool, if you are comfortable with it, then just swim. If you think others might be uncomfortable with the skin condition, maybe cover it with a shirt or longer trunks if possible?

wet suit, flippers, snorkel and goggles? lol no, really, what is up with men worrying about baldness? Love handles make you normal and mean there is more of you to love - I find them sexy on my man. I say stop worrying and go out n have fun! If you are concious, just wear long shorts and a t-shirt, I don't think anyone will be as critical about you as you are about yourself. Relax and be yourself and people will see past all your 'faults' and see you for who you are.

put lead weights on and stay at the bottom of the pool until the party is over

just wear some longer swim trunks, and a tank-top or cotton tee to cover your chest, then you will be comfortable enough to swim but you won't have to feel self conscious about bearing to much skin

I think you just better stay home................No Sike.... What about a pair of shorts to your knees, a tee-shirt and a baseball cap, or just go any way you feel comfortable,did you ever get a look at some of those people out there who think they look fine, don't worry about it.
