There is an entertaining place near St. Katharine's Docks that offers medieval feast in a banqueting hall atmosphere.
The regal banquet takes place by flickering torchlight in the vaulted cellars of Ivory House, just a stone's throw from the Tower of London and Tower Bridge. Accompanying King Henry VIII are fighting knights, strolling players and dancing wenches which provide a magical medieval pageant for your delight. After the show, there is music and dancing, or you could take a two minute walk to Tower Bridge and enjoy a panoramic view of London by night.

They serve a 4 course dinner, including unlimited beer, wine and mead:
A Selection of finest cold roast meats, paté and fresh salad. Served with Brown Bread.

A Soup made with a blend of market vegetables with a splash of cream and sprinkled with fresh herbs.

A Cauldron of fresh roast Chicken covered in our special honey and barbecue sauce and presented with a dish of fresh vegetables tossed in butter, with roast potatoes and garlic and herbs

A buttery flan base covered with creme Parisian topped with fresh strawberries and finished with a rich strawberry glaze.

Depending on your perspective, it's either silly or a hoot.

Either way, Eat, Drink and be Merry! ;)
