There is absolutely NO reason for unwanted pregnancies in this day and age. The better question would be; WHY ON EARTH WOULD YOU EVEN CONSIDER having sex with no birth control?? And you say HE is a jerk? Maybe so, but you should have asked him if he wanted children with you BEFORE you ever had sex. When will young women learn that having a baby is probably the most demanding and life changing event you will ever encounter in your entire lives! Are you really that stupid? One more 'unwed' mother' with an 'unwanted child' who will grow up traumatized by the fact he has no father to look up to and to learn from, and/or his father must hate him/her or they wouldn't have bailed on them. Sorry to tell you, but YOU are just as at fault for this situation as he is, and yes, he IS a jerk to abandon his own child, and YOU are incomprehensibly ignorant. At least get good prenatal care, and for God's sake take some parenting classes! Babies don't come with owner's manuals, and they don't raise themselves!!

First of all, you are to be commended for keeping your baby. You are a true example of the maturity and strength that women have that men just totally lack emotionally. Most states do have laws that will protect you and help you get child support. He is pathetic and a loser for not protecting you and being a true man for you. This baby was not a mistake, he or she is a gift from God to you - don't forget that. It may have been a mistake that you got involved with this guy - but that doesn't have any bearing on the potential that the little one inside of you has and the difference you can make for him or her. Yes, you should be mad and he needs to pay the price as co-contributor to this miracle - that God has given you by grace. Too bad he can't see that right now - he may never.

you are not wrong for being mad and you have legal rights concerning making this man pay child support. Look in your yellow pages for pregnancy counseling clinic and get some good legal advice so you can hold the baby's father responsible. He can't just say "I don't want it!" and walk away. He is required by law to provide child support. Stay strong and fight for what's best for your baby. This is no time for fooling around. Get serious and get moving! Good luck!

sweetie you are totally right!! I went through the same situation 8 years ago when I got pregnant and my ex just disappeared. I don't have any regrets now but at the beginning I felt like I wanted to die. Little by little, I learned to do things by myself and raised my son without his help. the only bad thing is my son is always asking questions about his father and I don't know what else to say to him. and that drives me crazy, to see my baby crying without being able to do anything. but people tell me not to worry, that my son soon will realize what a jerk his father was for abandon him. one piece of advice thou: never bash the father in front of your kid, even when you know he's a snake.

No you are not wrong for feeling like that. Hes an immature little boy. Do not get rid of your baby. Do what you gotta do to raise it alone. Let him alone and then take his *** for child support. Everything you can get from him!!!

wellness a woman i assume in specific circumstances we can be rather shallow and a solid bite of the time the adult men have been fascinated in are those that are jerks. And once you fairly like somebody no count what they do, you're nonetheless wonderful to them and supply them possibilities. And unwell be a hundred% trustworthy, women do not prefer adult men who handle them undesirable, they like a guy who will handle them with understand and prefer them for who they are. i desire this helped and sorry for the lack of ability of punctuation!

You are perfectly justified in getting angry. Next time make a better choice in a man. There are male & female jerks equally.

No, I would be devestated! Geez! Consider what he is saying, he wouldn't be a good Dad anyhow. As for child support, your child deserves to have BOTH his parents support them.
