No, it is stressful but not hard. It takes time and effort to get good at teaching and it's easy to work hard at improving one's teaching. I'd say it's hard to get good at teaching but easy to teach.

Well, depends on what you think is hard. Making lesson plans? Classroom management? Professionalism? Just like in any job, you have your good days, and bad days, but teachers choose this line of work not because of money or fame, but for intrinsic values.

As an alternative high school teacher in her second year, i would day your first year is the hardest. You're trying to find your groove as a teacher, while trying to manage and discipline students who may be only two years younger than you. However, you learn from your mistakes, and move on.

I like the other answer that it's not hard, just stressful. Alot of jobs have stress involved, and so does this profession, but if your an effective, creative teacher, it doesn't feel like work half the time! You get to have fun once you take a chance with your lesssons.

Most teachers love to teach. It's a calling.... a feeling that we are meant to do this with our lives. I have so much fun teaching. We read and talk....laugh and discuss important issues....and share what is special to us. I enjoy my students, and I feel a great deal of satisfaction in helping them to see things in a new light. Sometimes it can be trying when students are apathetic....acting like they just don't care about anything in life. I can't imagine doing anything else, though.

Yes if you have unruly students to deal with. So much teachers try to do as much as possible to make the students understand, they up late to mark assignments etc. and are so underpaid as the students poke fun and games he or she.
