You might try reading a book, my dear. If you were my child one mention of "I'm bored" would get you chores like it did my boys. Books can be much better than a playstation. Try reading. Good luck.

You have a computer and the Internet so you basically have the whole world at your disposal. Have you ever tried going to the many e-pal sites and finding some people your age from other countries who just want to write and learn about other cultures? How about trying to trace your family history? Your parents would probably love the idea because you could be learning about history at the same time. This would also open up opportunities for conversation with your parents as you ask them for information on relatives. Read a book, rake the leaves that are starting to fall, wash the family car, organize your room, bake something, go for a long bike ride, watch a basketball game at the park ( maybe you will be invited to play) draw some pictures and make your own comic book, just go outside and look around. You are so lucky to be young and be able to get out and about. There is no reason to be bored if you just use your imagination.

Have you ever thought of playing games on the net? Or try doing some crafts, I know what I am going to say sounds "so womanish" but try knitting or crocheting or looming. I know so many men on some of my groups that has done it in very early age and making a bunch or money or just haveing fun. Have you thought about taking care of pets when your neighbors are gone, there is good money in that. Ask your folks if you can clean the house for about $10.00, or the garage, or mow the lawn. Sure it sounds like work, but the money is great.

Tell your parents to get off they buts it does not take that long to pay a bill, no matter how they pay them. And if they don't tell the you it will be their fault if you become a computer juki, and your grads start to fall. That might wake them up and spend some time with you or let you get involved with some kind of after school active.

There's always the public library,(btw, it's spelled B-U-S-Y) yard work, clean your room, rake up the doggie doodie, do the laundry, wash the dishes, go for a walk, ride your bike, etc, etc. Do I sound like your mom??? That's because I am one, and that's what I tell my daughter to do when she complains. She doesn't seem to ask me as often anymore - I wonder why???
